Rita Grant is a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor who has been practicing yoga for the past 23 years. She looks forward to sharing her LOVE of yoga with you. Come experience the joy!
Develop a new relationship with yourself while strengthening your body, increasing flexibility, and quieting your mind. This Kripalu Yoga class promotes self-acceptance, inner wisdom, peace and authenticity. All levels welcome to join us at anytime!
What to Expect: A comfortable, safe environment for you to learn, explore and grow into your practice. A non-judgemental, non competitive setting, encouraging you to listen to your bodies needs while practicing at your own comfortable pace.
What to Bring:
A yoga mat & water. Wear comfortable clothing. The studio has extra mats, blocks, straps, and eye pillows.
Class Format: A brief discussion (class theme), An Opening Meditation (5 mins) Centering/Breath work (Pranayama), Gentle warm up (Pratapana), Series of Yoga postures (Asanas), Relaxation (Savasana). We usually end class with a Seated Meditation (5-10 mins) giving you time to absorb your practice and soak in the stillness.
Etiquette: Please arrive on time (5 minutes before class begins). Silence cell phones. Be respectful of all classmates.
COST: $15 per class or 6-week session for $72.
